Of course, you can. You only need to provide the size of the old radiator, and we will recommend a suitable style for you. The size of the radiator was originally customized according to your needs, and we will do our best to meet your size requirements.
The amount of heat required for a room is determined by many factors, including the size of the room and its location. As a reference, if you know the room temperature, inlet and outlet water temperature, our sales team will calculate a reference heat for you based on this.
However, it is still recommended that you consult your plumber or heating engineer, as they can consider any factors that may affect heat based on the local climate or the details of your house. Due to different heating systems and different locations of houses, calculations can be more complex, so it is necessary to consult a heating consultant.
Please note that the heat output of the radiator you have selected may differ from your thermal needs. Therefore, it is recommended that you choose a radiator with a higher heat output as much as possible and install a thermostatic radiator valve to control room temperature. Also remember that there may be multiple sets of radiators in a room, so remember to combine the outputs of these radiators.
As for the choice of color, considering the vast majority of customers' choices, it is recommended that you choose white, as it can blend well with any decoration style and never go out of style. But if you want some colorful colors to add a touch of brightness to your decoration, it is also a very good choice, as more and more customers are choosing colors other than white based on indoor decoration. You only need to inform us of your color requirements.
When making a selection, we should choose the material based on the local water quality and heating method. Our common types of heating radiators are as follows:
(1) Cast iron radiator. Cast iron radiators were widely used as household heating radiators in the early days, but now they have basically faded out of people's sight. This type of radiator is mostly made of steel structure, which is prone to water leakage. Moreover, its anti-corrosion performance is poor, its volume is heavy, its appearance is rough, and its energy consumption is relatively high, which has been gradually phased out.
(2) Steel heating radiator. Steel heating radiators are currently a very popular type of radiator. Steel radiators have better heating effects and better corrosion resistance than cast iron radiators, making them the most commonly used type of heating radiator at present. Although its corrosion resistance is better than that of cast iron radiators, steel radiators still exhibit corrosion. Therefore, it is recommended to choose this type of radiator in areas with good water quality.
(3) Aluminum alloy heating radiator. This type of radiator is relatively light, but not suitable for alkaline water quality. When choosing, everyone must be cautious and also pay attention to hardware accessories made of other materials during installation. It is best to choose copper as an aluminum radiator accessory.
(4) Copper aluminum composite heating radiator. This type of heating and heat dissipation gas is relatively common in the market in recent years. It is a convection type radiator composed of copper pipes and aluminum alloy profiles. Copper and aluminum have good corrosion resistance, so this type of radiator also has good corrosion resistance and safety performance. However, its cost is relatively high and can be purchased according to budget.
Installing A Radiator
If you know how to install it yourself, you can install it yourself; If you have no experience, we suggest that you find a local professional heating radiator installation company, so that if there are any problems, they can come to your doorstep in a timely manner to solve them.
In order to maximize the heat dissipation efficiency of the heating radiator, it is recommended to install the radiator under or next to the window. Of course, this also depends on the location of your pipeline layout. If your pipeline needs to be adjusted, it must be modified by a professional plumber.
Of course, it is recommended that you can reserve the pipes before installing the radiators, but it is recommended that the length between the pipes where the radiators are installed can be reserved more, in case the radiators cannot be installed due to size errors.
If just one or two radiators are leaking, you don't need to replace all the radiators in your home. It is recommended that you close the water valve in your home, drain the excess water from the radiator, and then remove the radiator to prevent financial loss to your home due to water leakage, so you only need to replace the leaking radiator.
Radiator Maintenance & Trouble Shooting
1. Determine the location of the radiator leaking, correctly lock the control valve at the leaking place, and then turn the valve clockwise until it is tightened, call a professional to deal with the leaking problem.
2. Close each control valve first, and then take corresponding measures according to different leaking parts.
3. If the union leaks, replace it with a new union, and if the seam leaks, replace the wire.
4. If the interface leaks, replace the heating pipes and accessories. If the radiator leaks, you must replace it with a new radiator.
5. Reminder: If there is water leakage due to the installation problem of the radiator, after closing the valve, just call the installation team to deal with it.
If your radiator is scratched, it is recommended that you purchase a self-painted refinish! But if the radiator is dented, there probably isn't much you can do. It is recommended that you find a local radiator repair company to see if they can repair the radiator for you.
If none of the radiators are hot, then there is something wrong with the system radiator system, I suggest you contact your local heating company, power flush the system or look for other problems. Power flushing is when chemicals and water are passed through a heated system at high pressure to remove any debris, dirt and blockages within the system.
The noise from the radiator is most likely caused by the air inside the radiator, it is recommended that all the air be expelled from the radiator before opening the air valve. Another one is that the water will also make a sound when the radiator flows, so you don't have to worry too much about this.
